Bike It Better Road
Thursday 20th July 2017 at 6:30 AM
Guide Dogs Victoria, Chandler Hwy, Kew. Parking available on Yarra Boulevard opposite. Please wait off the road and away from the gate.
Intermediate - On road
Adults 18 + only
This weekly road ride features 3 of my favourite local roads. It's a bit leafy, with lots of quiet back streets, some bike paths along the river, features a bit of street art, and also includes a few bouts of short sharp climbing... followed up with a spectacular coffee (or chai if you prefer) at Fifteen Pounds Cafe in Fairfield.
This is the Bike it Better Weekly Breeze road ride for women - every Thursday morning*. For beginner to intermediate riders, it is a no-drop** ride, suitable for road bikes. The distance is 20km and takes 1 hour, followed by coffee & chat at Fifteen Pounds, Fairfield.
**Please note: Due to time restraints, in order to attend this ride, you need to be able to ride at a minimum average speed of 20km/hr on a usual undulating ride.
Although the ride does not finish back at the start point, I will ride with you back to the Guide Dogs after coffee if you need to return to that point.
